Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: Remote, Tbilisi

Salary: $4,000–$5,000 gross per month

What you will do

• Design, build, optimize, and support containerized application platforms.
• Modernize and optimize enterprise Java application deployments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and ArgoCD.
• Administer, configure, tune, and troubleshoot JBoss/WildFly environments.
• Create, customize, harden, and optimize container images and maintain Source-to-Image build processes.
• Support Kubernetes deployments, troubleshoot complex operational issues, and improve platform reliability and security with development, infrastructure, and security teams.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of professional experience in DevOps or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with container technologies, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
• Extensive experience administering and configuring JBoss/WildFly.
• Experience building and maintaining Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, and Source-to-Image pipelines.
• Strong Linux, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to work autonomously.

Nice to have

• Experience with AKS, Kubernetes, and Rancher SUSE.
• Experience supporting enterprise Java applications and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, vulnerability remediation, and secure software delivery.
• Familiarity with enterprise application modernization initiatives.
