Systems/DevOps Engineer – Senior

Location: Remote from anywhere in the world or from one of the European offices; candidates must have already relocated from Russia or Belarus.

Salary: €4,500–€7,000 per month before taxes.

What you will do

• Set up and maintain infrastructure for production and staging environments.
• Develop and support GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Respond to monitoring events, including periodic day and night duties.
• Improve infrastructure setup and maintenance processes.
• Participate in designing complex IT systems.
• Communicate and collaborate with product development teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a systems engineer, SRE, or DevOps engineer.
• Strong Linux-like operating systems administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Ansible, SaltStack, Terraform, or Pulumi.
• Experience with Kubernetes and Helm, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with Cloudflare or Route 53, plus Prometheus Stack or Zabbix.
• B1+ English and strong Russian are required; higher technical education is also required.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed systems and ClickHouse.
• Experience with Bash, Python, or Go.
• Experience with ELK or EFK log aggregation stacks.
• Experience with cloud provider services and Agile practices such as Kanban or Scrum.
• Ability to use AI-powered tools and platforms to optimize workflows and support decision-making.
