Marketing & E-Commerce Cost Controller (EMEA)

Location: Annecy, France; full-time temporary contract for 12 months

Company

International sporting goods business creating mountain sports products across footwear, apparel, equipment, and digital commerce.

What you will do

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings, including accruals, provisions, and justifications.
• Monitor OPEX budgets, analyze actuals against forecasts and budgets, and maintain financial tracking files.
• Prepare and consolidate budgeting, forecasting, scenario modeling, and financial simulation data.
• Coordinate budgeting activities with approximately 10 stakeholders, including European market leaders and e-commerce project managers.
• Manage cost centers, internal orders, project codes, financial allocations, and reporting structures in SAP and internal systems.
• Monitor e-commerce and marketing budgets, marketplace P&L, variance risks, product sample spending, and SOX compliance.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Financial Controller, including financial closing, forecasting, and P&L analysis.
• Strong knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel.
• Fluent English and the ability to collaborate with international teams daily.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• High accuracy, attention to detail, financial rigor, initiative, and business acumen.
