Intermediate Test Engineer (POS)

Location: Wroclaw, Poland; fully office-based with daily attendance required in the testing lab

What you will do

• Execute manual testing of POS applications across web, Windows, Android, and iOS platforms.
• Perform REST API testing and validate system integrations.
• Test POS hardware and peripherals, including terminals, scanners, printers, and connected devices.
• Verify new features, enhancements, and bug fixes for reliable performance.
• Identify, document, and track defects while collaborating with developers on resolution.
• Create, maintain, and update test cases, test plans, and QA documentation throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience in manual software testing.
• Strong understanding of testing principles, methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications and REST APIs with Postman or similar tools.
• Experience creating and maintaining test cases and documentation, plus understanding of defect management and bug life cycles.
• Hands-on Jira experience and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate+ English and availability to work onsite in Wroclaw every day.

Nice to have

• Experience testing Android or iOS mobile applications.
• Experience testing POS systems and hardware peripherals.
• Experience in the restaurant, hospitality, or POS industry.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban.
