Network Support Expert (Azure)

Salary: €3,267 gross per month minimum collective agreement base salary, with possible overpayment based on qualifications.

What you will do

• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve complex network incidents affecting customer environments and connected business solutions.
• Investigate LAN, WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, security, and site-to-site connectivity issues using Wireshark, Nmap, and network monitoring platforms.
• Analyze Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics data, logs, and metrics to troubleshoot incidents and improve network performance.
• Conduct network testing, audits, and performance analysis to identify root causes and service degradation.
• Own incidents through resolution, coordinate with internal teams and external partners, and produce detailed incident reports.
• Maintain troubleshooting documentation and train internal teams in network diagnostics and incident resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Significant experience in network administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and advanced technical support.
• Strong knowledge of network architectures and protocols, including TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN, and Wi-Fi.
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark, Nmap, monitoring platforms, and network performance analysis.
• Experience with cloud, virtualization, and hybrid environments, particularly Azure and VMware.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or equivalent certifications, are mandatory. Excellent written and spoken German and English are required.
