What you will do

• Assess infrastructure insurance businesses, including risk exposure, coverage, risk modelling, and costing.
• Support profitable treaty and facultative reinsurance growth in Malaysia and assigned Asian markets.
• Provide pre-underwriting analytical support to engineering underwriting desks across Southeast Asia and Australia.
• Manage post-underwriting activities, including documentation, policy amendments, treaty acceptances, data quality, claims support, and reserving reviews.
• Build relationships with business partners, provide technical advice, and conduct training for clients and internal teams.
• Support engineering digital strategy, new product development, market research, renewable energy solutions, and cross-functional market initiatives.

Requirements

• University degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in infrastructure projects or loss adjusting involving infrastructure losses.
• Underwriting experience in primary insurance or reinsurance is advantageous.
• Strong commercial mindset, ownership, accountability, and ability to perform under pressure.
• Comfort working collaboratively in a multicultural, matrix organization and willingness to travel occasionally.
