Marketing, E-commerce & Shopify Assistant

Location: Remote for candidates in South Africa or the Philippines

What you will do

• Manage and update the Shopify website, including products, descriptions, images, and other content.
• Check website accuracy, organisation, visual presentation, and customer experience.
• Support Instagram and Facebook management by creating, scheduling, publishing, and adapting content.
• Create marketing materials and product-focused content using Canva while maintaining consistent visual branding.
• Create and send weekly Flodesk newsletters, adapting templates, layouts, imagery, and copy.
• Monitor content performance, suggest improvements, and manage recurring weekly deadlines independently.

Requirements

• Previous experience in digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, or a similar role.
• Experience managing or updating Shopify websites.
• Strong experience using Canva and Instagram and Facebook for business or brand purposes.
• Experience with website management and email marketing platforms; Flodesk experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of visual branding, design aesthetics, imagery, typography, colour, spacing, layouts, and product presentation.
• Strong written English, attention to detail, organisation, independence, and the ability to manage deadlines.
