TL;DR
Network Automation and Platform Engineer (Network Automation/Infrastructure): Modernizing, automating, and operating enterprise platforms that support network operations, observability, identity services, and infrastructure management with an accent on reliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency. Focus on designing API- and Infrastructure-as-Code integrations, managing platform lifecycles and migrations, and identifying technical and operational risks across complex stakeholder environments.

What you will do
- Own the health, modernization, automation, and continuous improvement of platforms supporting network operations, observability, identity services, and infrastructure management.
- Evaluate technical, operational, and business requirements and determine effective solutions, risks, and implementation paths.
- Design, test, integrate, and automate solutions across multiple platforms using APIs, automation frameworks, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Support application onboarding, migrations, upgrades, platform transformations, vulnerability remediation, audits, and compliance initiatives.
- Define platform roadmaps and modernization strategies while managing vendor support, lifecycle activities, and decommissioning.
- Partner with leadership and technical teams to align technology investments with business objectives and improve reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency.
Requirements
- Experience in platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, network engineering with automation, DevOps, SRE, or enterprise monitoring and observability.
- Experience with Windows and Linux administration, Ansible/AWX, GitHub or GitLab, ServiceNow integrations, REST APIs, and Infrastructure as Code.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure cloud hosting architecture; AWS experience is beneficial.
- Experience with vulnerability management, security remediation, penetration testing, audit readiness, compliance, and CI/CD pipelines for network provisioning.
- Ability to drive work across teams, communicate effectively, apply sound judgment, and improve processes in complex environments.
- Working knowledge of enterprise networking concepts and network management platforms.
Nice to have
- Production-grade Python automation development experience.
- Experience with Cisco management tools such as Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, CMX, or Prime.
- Hands-on experience in software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or public-cloud systems architecture.
- Experience with enterprise platform integrations, cloud-hosted application architectures, vendor-supported applications, lifecycle management, and modernization initiatives.
