Location: Field-based in the Springfield and Joplin region of Missouri, including Columbia and occasional trips to Kirksville; travel of at least 80% within the assigned territory. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
Salary: $101,000–$123,000 base pay annually. Target earning potential is $126,000–$148,000 annually.

What you will do
- Provide clinical and sales support for Tandem diabetes products and services across the assigned territory.
- Educate patients, physicians, healthcare professionals, staff, and pump trainers on diabetes technology, products, and clinical outcomes.
- Partner with the Territory Manager to develop sales strategies, generate leads, achieve sales goals, and retain customer relationships.
- Conduct initial and ongoing recertification of contracted and non-contracted Tandem Pump Trainers.
- Collaborate with technical and clinical support teams to resolve post-sale product issues and identify additional patient education needs.
- Maintain CRM records, territory call cycles, product documentation, and compliance with privacy, HIPAA, regulatory, legal, and safety requirements.
Requirements
- RN, preferably BSN, RD, RPh, or an equivalent combination of education and applicable experience.
- Advanced Diabetes Education Professional credential, such as CDCES or BC-ADM certification or eligibility.
- At least 2 years of experience coordinating and conducting patient education on the technical use of diabetes technology; video-based remote education experience is preferred.
- Clinical expertise in diabetes, diabetes technology, Automated Insulin Delivery, and diabetes management software systems.
- Strong communication and presentation skills for working with patients, referral sources, healthcare professionals, and varied audiences.
- Ability to travel at least 80%, with a valid driver's license, required auto insurance, and a good driving record.
Nice to have
- BSN qualification.
- At least 1 year of related diabetes or endocrinology industry experience.
- Experience with video-based patient education.
