Human Resources Generalist (Manufacturing): Supporting day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, training, payroll, and benefits administration across the Brita and Glad manufacturing sites with an accent on operational HR support, compliance, and employee service delivery. Focus on coordinating end-to-end payroll and benefits processes, managing workforce data and documentation, and resolving attendance, accommodation, leave, and workplace issues.

Location: On-site in Brampton, Ontario, Canada

Salary: CAD 71,596–110,257 for non-sales roles; CAD 73,043–112,487 for sales roles

What you will do

  • Serve as the day-to-day HR contact for Brita employees, supervisors, and managers.
  • Support attendance management, routine employee relations, performance discussions, investigations, accommodations, and workplace issue resolution.
  • Manage hourly and summer student recruitment, onboarding, orientation, documentation, and employee record updates.
  • Coordinate training logistics, compliance tracking, HRIS data, personnel files, workforce reporting, audits, and HR process improvements.
  • Own payroll and benefits operations for the Glad and Brita manufacturing sites, including transactions, audits, reporting, issue resolution, leaves, disability, accommodation, and return-to-work processes.
  • Partner with manufacturing leaders, the Manufacturing Human Resources Manager, HR partners, and centers of excellence on people priorities.

Requirements

  • Strong HR generalist experience in an operational, manufacturing, supply chain, or similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Experience managing HR administration, payroll, benefits, employee documentation, and confidential employee matters.
  • Knowledge of Ontario employment standards, human rights and accommodation principles, privacy, health and safety, and HR compliance.
  • Clear communication, sound judgment, organization, discretion, and effective collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience; an advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, benefits administration, Workday, ADP, or similar systems is preferred.
