Engineering Manager, Dashboard (React)

Location: San Francisco, CA

Salary: $226,000–$325,000 per year; compensation may be adjusted based on employee location and may include equity, benefits, and bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team of engineers.
• Partner with Product, Design, Data, and engineering teams to define priorities and deliver product goals.
• Guide technical decisions across frontend architecture, performance, reliability, accessibility, and developer experience.
• Review and occasionally contribute code to stay close to the technology and unblock the team.
• Drive engineering processes, incident management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Balance product delivery with long-term technical quality and platform scalability for the Dashboard.

Requirements

• Experience leading and growing high-performing engineering teams.
• Experience building and operating large-scale customer-facing web applications or developer products.
• Strong product engineering mindset and experience collaborating with product managers and designers.
• Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and the broader JavaScript ecosystem.
• Understanding of frontend architecture, performance optimization, accessibility, and design systems.
• Clear communication across technical and non-technical audiences and the ability to build cross-team alignment.
