Specialist, Third Party Risk (Financial Services)

Location: Limerick, Ireland; applicants must have the right to work in Ireland for the duration of employment.

What you will do

• Monitor first-line adherence to third-party risk policies, standards, and risk taxonomies.
• Provide second-line challenge, oversight, quality control, and subject-matter guidance across third-party risk programs.
• Review, interpret, and develop policies, procedures, and standards aligned with laws and regulatory requirements.
• Identify significant risks and advise management on mitigation, controls, and operational improvements.
• Engage with internal and external auditors, regulators, managers, and business partners on risk matters.
• Lead limited-scope projects, coordinate workstreams, deliver presentations, and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements

• In-depth conceptual and practical knowledge of third-party risk management.
• Understanding of procurement, audit, legal, regulatory compliance, and financial services risk practices.
• Strong communication, analytical, judgment, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant qualification in audit, risk management, regulatory, or compliance disciplines.
• Several years of risk management experience; third-party risk experience is preferred.
• Must already have the right to work in Ireland; employment permit sponsorship is not available.
