Provider Relations Representative

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States; hybrid flex schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Travel within assigned areas, including overnight stays, is required.

Base pay: $55,900–$123,500 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with facility and physician providers.
• Serve as a liaison through provider education, training, claims assistance, and issue resolution.
• Explain policies, procedures, contracts, products, and reimbursement processes.
• Support provider service and satisfaction while identifying recurring concerns and operational trends.
• Collaborate on business and process improvements across assigned areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of experience in managed care, or at least 5 years of experience in a managed care environment.
• At least 2 years of healthcare administration experience in clinical and financial settings with direct provider communication.
• Knowledge of the healthcare industry, provider reimbursement methods, contracts, applications, and products.
• Working knowledge of claims processing systems and proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, presentation, organizational, planning, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, handle pressure, and travel within assigned areas.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting provider relationships in managed care, health plans, hospitals, or physician practices.
• Knowledge of provider office workflows, practice operations, and healthcare administration.
• Customer service focus with emphasis on provider satisfaction and relationship management.
• Experience identifying trends and recurring provider concerns to improve operations.
