Environmental Materials and EPR Program Compliance Manager (EPR)

Location: Hybrid role based in Ringaskiddy, Cork, Ireland. Equivalent postings are also available for Raynham, Massachusetts, USA, and Leeds, UK. Travel up to 10%, including occasional international collaboration.

Salary: €70,100–€121,210 annual base pay, plus an annual bonus or sales commissions depending on role and location.

What you will do

• Lead global Product Stewardship compliance for electrical and electronic equipment, e-waste, batteries, packaging, plastics, environmental reporting, fees, and EPR take-back schemes.
• Monitor emerging global regulations, assess business impact, and translate requirements into practical plans and stakeholder guidance.
• Maintain regulatory trackers, compliance dashboards, metrics, inventories, leadership updates, and supporting documentation.
• Lead the collection, validation, governance, reporting, and retention of materials and EPR data, including improvements to compliance technology.
• Coordinate registrations, reports, fees, and other obligations with regional affiliates and business partners.
• Lead communities of practice, training, industry collaboration, audits, assessments, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, EHS, Regulatory Affairs, Life Sciences, Data Science, or a related discipline.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in Product Stewardship, environmental compliance, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of global materials compliance and EPR requirements, including experience implementing regulatory programs in industry.
• Experience with regulatory data, reporting, dashboards, documentation, technology-enabled compliance solutions, and program governance.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, facilitation, influencing, and collaboration skills in a global matrixed organization.
• Professional English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree or certification in regulatory, environmental compliance, sustainability, or a related field, such as RAC.
• Experience in healthcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or another highly regulated industry.
• Experience with advocacy, trade associations, audits, inspections, compliance assessments, corrective actions, sustainability, or circular economy initiatives.
• Experience supporting global portfolios, acquisitions, or divestitures.
