What you will do
- Build and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes for analytics and business intelligence.
- Support data architectures including data lakes, warehouses, and integration layers.
- Implement data quality checks, validation processes, security practices, and privacy compliance measures.
- Develop and maintain integrations between data sources, third-party tools, APIs, and analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with data managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Monitor and optimize pipeline performance and query efficiency, document solutions, and use AI tools to improve workflows.
Requirements
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience developing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Working knowledge of data warehousing solutions such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language: Python, Scala, or Java.
- Familiarity with Databricks or Snowflake, plus basic knowledge of data modeling and database design.
- English at B2 level or above and experience working with international teams or clients.
Nice to have
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, Fivetran, Stitch, or other modern data stack tools.
- Cloud or data engineering certifications.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Spanish communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
