Intermediate Electrical Designer (UV Disinfection)

Location: London, Ontario, Canada; hybrid arrangement with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. The posting also lists Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States as an available location.

Salary: CAD 70,000–80,000 per year.

What you will do

• Develop electrical design solutions for custom UV disinfection equipment and systems.
• Create and maintain electrical schematics, panel drawings, P&IDs, bills of materials, and supporting documentation.
• Review project specifications and ensure designs meet customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Engineering teams during project execution.
• Participate in design reviews, commissioning support, and technical issue resolution.
• Provide technical guidance to junior team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design, industrial controls, panel design, or a related engineering environment.
• Proficiency in electrical schematics, industrial control systems, and AutoCAD.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement with 3 onsite days in London, Ontario and 2 remote days.
