Technical Account Manager (Fintech)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with client-site visits and occasional travel to other office locations in Europe.

What you will do

• Implement and support client trading-system functionality, including market quoting, volatility surfaces, and algorithmic-trading solutions.
• Troubleshoot systems with users and client IT teams, coordinating with engineering on issues requiring code changes.
• Gather, analyze, and prioritize issue reports and feature requests as the interface between customers and engineering.
• Support sales with new deliveries and clients, and collaborate with exchanges on functionality and market upgrades.
• Visit client sites to understand usage challenges, identify expansion opportunities, and help prepare business reviews.
• Improve processes through technology, AI, and automation.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in a client-facing financial-services role, preferably supporting trading platforms.
• Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Engineering, Economics, or Finance.
• Hands-on familiarity with Linux system administration.
• Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish required.
• Strong customer-facing, communication, support, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work constructively with colleagues across the organization.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Java, C++, Perl, Bash, or Python scripting.
• Interest in network routing, diagnostics, transport protocols, packet capture, and network latency.
• Experience with principal or agency trading flows or another relevant financial-services domain.
