Software Engineer - Machine Learning (AI)

What you will do

• Build and evolve Dev Mode, MCP tools, and Make for developer and designer collaboration.
• Develop new 0→1 products in the agentic coding space.
• Build user-facing generative AI and agentic product features.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, data specialists, and researchers to deliver high-quality products.
• Mentor peers and contribute to the engineering, product, and design community.

Requirements

• 3+ years of leading large-scale, high-impact engineering projects.
• Experience with user-facing LLM and agentic product features.
• Experience curating evaluation sets and developing LLM-as-judge systems.
• Strong attention to detail, product quality, and engineering craftsmanship.
• High-velocity execution with a focus on user impact.

Nice to have

• Experience driving cross-functional projects with Product, Design, Data, and Research.
• Experience shipping user-facing features as a full-stack developer.
• Strong fluency with React and TypeScript.
• Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
• Experience training or fine-tuning LLMs.
