Marketing Intern (AI): Supporting APAC marketing initiatives across social media, PR, content creation, influencer outreach, and marketing events with an accent on localized campaigns, media relations, and AI-powered workflows. Focus on creating platform-specific content, monitoring brand and competitor coverage, analyzing campaign performance, and coordinating with diverse stakeholders.
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; hybrid work arrangement with office attendance

What you will do
- Support daily management of Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X, including drafting campaign captions.
- Create localized content, festive campaigns, video content for Instagram Reels and YouTube, and basic graphics.
- Monitor and report on social media and PR performance across APAC.
- Draft press releases, media pitches, backgrounders, emailers, newsletters, and website content.
- Identify and contact local KOLs, influencers, and media publications while maintaining the media database.
- Support marketing events, media drops, press interviews, and monitoring of brand mentions, competitor news, and industry trends.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills with close attention to detail.
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and social media management tools.
- Basic knowledge of PR principles, media relations, and event planning.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Creative thinking, organization, time management, adaptability, and effective teamwork.
Nice to have
- Experience with generative AI tools and software.
- Experience with graphic design or photo editing tools.
- Familiarity with analytics tools, performance marketing, conversion, and data analysis.
- Previous experience or coursework in PR, social media management, or growth marketing.
