Early Careers Talent Acquisition Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Build and execute campus engagement programmes, including hackathons, tech talks, career fairs, and community partnerships.
• Run the annual early-careers recruiting calendar and maintain university, student society, and technology community relationships across Nigeria.
• Deliver end-to-end internship programmes covering recruitment, pre-boarding, cohort programming, manager enablement, mentoring, and graduate conversion.
• Design high-volume application, screening, interview, and assessment workflows in the Applicant Tracking System.
• Coordinate with hiring managers, People Operations, IT, workplace teams, assessment partners, and vendors to ensure accessible evaluations and Day 1 readiness.
• Track programme metrics, gather stakeholder feedback, and provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of talent acquisition experience with exposure to campus recruiting, university relations, early-career programmes, or cohort hiring.
• Experience coordinating complex projects or multi-stakeholder programmes with strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Practical experience with modern Applicant Tracking Systems and candidate evaluation tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for engaging university students and senior stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of the Nigerian higher education landscape and emerging talent communities.

Nice to have

• Experience designing or running student hackathons, innovation challenges, or STEM recruitment initiatives.
• Experience in high-growth technology, fintech, or fast-paced corporate environments.
• Familiarity with funnel analytics, spreadsheet reporting, or presentation design for leadership reviews.
