Facility Management Lead (Automotive)

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden; on-site. Applicants must have immediate, ongoing, and valid eligibility to work full time in Sweden and a full, valid Swedish B-driving licence.

What you will do

• Oversee and optimize the facility portfolio to improve operational efficiency, workplace quality, and cost performance.
• Manage facility-related contracts, including negotiations, renewals, terminations, subleasing, and contractual changes.
• Act as the main interface with landlords and external stakeholders while maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Identify opportunities to improve workplace functionality, space efficiency, and employee experience.
• Lead facility changes, development projects, office updates, and relocations from planning through implementation.
• Support facility-related matters across automotive R&D and design environments.

Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience working in R&D and design environments.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management, cost management, negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, commercial awareness, and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to lead projects and deliver practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid eligibility to work full time in Sweden and a full, valid Swedish B-driving licence are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Office 365 and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of SAP.
