General Manager - Atlanta (Retail)

Location: GA - Atlanta, United States. Onsite retail studio role with weekend and holiday availability required.

What you will do

• Hire, develop, lead, motivate, and coach the studio team.
• Deliver the Herman Miller Client Experience through demonstrations, quoting, and sales generation.
• Manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance activities and deliver the store sales plan.
• Maintain visual presentation standards and ensure the studio reflects company directives.
• Manage store operations, shipments, scheduling, supplies, and controllable expenses.
• Partner with Human Resources on employee relations and performance management.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of retail management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, interpersonal, listening, and people-management skills.
• Ability to inspire teams in a high-traffic environment and build relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Strong integrity, business ethics, personal performance standards, and commitment to continuous improvement.
• Financial literacy, business acumen, and ability to manage budgets.
• Experience with POS systems, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and 3-D rendering programs; ability to routinely move objects weighing more than 40 pounds.
