Location: Pasching, Austria. The role is based in Austria and requires significant travel to sites in Switzerland and Poland for consultations, interviews, and in-person employee support.

What you will do
- Provide expert support on complex labour and employee relations matters, including disciplinary cases, grievances, performance issues, separations, transformation initiatives, and labour law compliance.
- Lead and support consultations and negotiations with works councils, unions, and other employee representative bodies across Austria, Switzerland, and Poland.
- Act as the lead labour and employee relations partner for reorganisations, restructurings, organisational redesigns, and transformation initiatives.
- Lead workplace investigations and performance management processes, including documentation, risk assessments, employee meetings, and follow-up actions.
- Coordinate escalations involving HR, Legal, Compliance, People Partners, and Global Labour and Employee Relations, while improving policies, playbooks, training, and case management practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
- Multiple years of progressive experience in labour and employee relations, ideally in an international matrix organisation.
- In-depth knowledge of Austrian labour law and procedures involving works councils and labour unions; knowledge of Swiss and Polish labour law is advantageous.
- Experience with reorganisations, restructurings, transformations, negotiations, consultation documents, and company agreements across multiple countries.
- Ability to travel to covered-country sites and conduct one-on-one employee interviews and in-person support.
- Fluent English is essential.
Nice to have
- Experience in regulated, manufacturing, life sciences, or other compliance-intensive environments.
- Experience developing manager training content or playbooks on labour relations and people risk.
