What you will do
- Process, reconcile, and analyze insurance data.
- Perform actuarial pricing for the Middle East and Africa region, including experience studies, book rates, pricing assumptions, and methodology updates.
- Analyze medical cost drivers and trends to support business decisions.
- Develop dashboards and reports to improve actuarial analysis and reporting.
- Develop, test, and maintain pricing and underwriting tools.
- Support monthly financial close, reserving, reserve assumption reviews, financial results analysis, and regulatory submissions.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related field.
- At least two years of actuarial experience in the Middle East, preferably in health insurance.
- Some progress toward Associate credentials with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries or the Society of Actuaries, with commitment to pursuing Fellowship qualification.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office and data analytics tools such as R, SQL, Alteryx, or equivalent.
- Excellent verbal and written English competence.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, detail-oriented, and able to exercise independent judgment and discretion.
