Sr Congress & Events Coordinator (Biotechnology)

What you will do

• Coordinate local, regional, and international congresses and events supporting product launches.
• Manage event logistics, including venues, hotels, restaurants, hospitality suites, corporate socials, and key opinion leader dinners.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and maintain databases for travel bookings, invoices, and cancellation policies.
• Communicate congress and event information to participants and coordinate with contacts across countries and affiliates.
• Build request forms, consolidate affiliate data, and allocate expenses to the appropriate affiliates and internal clients.
• Use internal systems to submit, update, and close events while following compliance requirements and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least five years of related industry experience.
• Experience organizing congresses and events, with knowledge of the travel and tourism industry.
• Fluent English in verbal and written communication.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of health regulations.
• Degree in Business or Marketing.
• Advanced knowledge of marketing and finance procedures.
• Additional language fluency.
• Hotel management degree.
