Senior Infrastructure Software Engineer

What you will do

• Design and develop large-scale infrastructure systems and distributed backend platforms.
• Build and maintain infrastructure handling very large data volumes.
• Improve scalability, performance, reliability, and platform security.
• Solve complex backend and infrastructure engineering problems and improve existing systems.
• Own major technical projects from design through delivery and define technical approaches.
• Collaborate across engineering teams, influence technical decisions, and support production environments when required.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong backend or infrastructure software engineering experience with large-scale distributed and multithreaded systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Go, C++, C, or Java.
• Experience with operating systems, databases, networks, and geographically distributed backend systems.
• Strong debugging, technical problem-solving, and independent project ownership skills.
• Ability to work with ambiguous requirements and influence technical direction.

Nice to have

• Experience defining technical roadmaps and providing technical leadership.
• Experience with Go or C++, operating system internals, filesystems, database internals, networking, or compilers.
• Experience with global-scale product infrastructure, high-scale storage, or data platforms.
