2027 Software Dev Engineer Intern (AI)

Location: Gdansk, Poland; in-office Monday-Friday, typically up to 40 hours per week between 8am and 5pm

Salary: 9,200 PLN gross per month

What you will do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate innovative products and scalable, reliable services.
• Break down complex and ambiguous problems into well-defined technical components.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Write clean, maintainable code and accurate technical documentation.
• Use AI-powered development tools while validating and integrating generated code responsibly.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues in an agile environment using CI/CD practices and on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, operating systems, algorithms, data structures, and complexity analysis.
• Experience with at least one general-purpose programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
• At least one academic term must remain after the internship concludes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to handle ambiguous problems.

Nice to have

• Technical internship experience.
• Experience with distributed systems, multi-tiered systems, algorithms, relational databases, SQL, or NoSQL.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, AI-assisted development tools, version control, or open-source projects.
• Knowledge of linear programming or nonlinear optimization.
