Vulnerability Intelligence Senior Analyst (Cybersecurity)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with agreed days at home and at the ING MAD office

What you will do

• Conduct vulnerability assessments across systems, applications, and networks using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
• Collect and monitor vulnerability intelligence from security advisories, threat feeds, OSINT, and dark web forums.
• Analyse vulnerability data, prepare risk assessments, and recommend remediation steps to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Incident Response, IT, and Development teams to prioritise vulnerabilities and improve security hardening.
• Develop threat models, anticipate attack vectors, and identify vulnerabilities in new and existing systems.
• Manage vulnerability intelligence platforms and maintain current signatures and configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in vulnerability management, threat intelligence, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• English at C1 level is required.

Nice to have

• IT certifications such as RHCSA, MCSA, or CCNA.
• Experience configuring cyber threat intelligence sharing tools.
• Experience with Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7, network protocols, operating systems, and security frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain, and NIST.
• Experience working in complex environments and participating in international security initiatives.
