Senior QA Engineer (Robotics/AI)

Location: Hanoi, Vietnam; onsite with 1 day of work from home

What you will do

• Create comprehensive manual and automated test cases for in-house software.
• Build and maintain automation scripts in the internal CI/CD system.
• Perform exploratory testing, regression activities, and stress testing of software drivers for industrial devices.
• Investigate issues with engineers and customers on-site and prepare reports for development teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to improve user stories and requirements.
• Own quality assurance for one project and coach junior staff when required.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of general testing experience, including at least 3 years in automated testing for Web UI, API, or desktop applications.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and test design techniques, including regression, integration, smoke, exploratory testing, Boundary Value Analysis, and Equivalence Class Partitioning.
• Experience with Python or Java and automation frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework, Cucumber, TestNG, Appium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Experience with Agile development, BDD/TDD, shift-left testing, troubleshooting, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, and testing both software and hardware.
• Proficient English communication skills in reading and writing.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with experience in electrical or mechanical automation systems.

Nice to have

• Experience testing desktop applications or hardware-related products.
• Familiarity with Linux and shell scripting.
• Experience with robotics technologies such as motion planning, control, or computer vision.
• Experience with AI products or AI- and robotics-related products.
