SAP Analyst 1

Location: Mexico City; candidates within reasonable commuting distance are expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week

What you will do

• Support SAP-based software applications and handle incoming customer support inquiries.
• Gather customer information, analyze symptoms, identify underlying problems, and determine appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate with customers and technical staff to define functional requirements and resolve application issues.
• Analyze SAP data for projects, business cases, and system requirements.
• Test, implement, document, and maintain SAP-based applications.
• Apply development and project management standards while identifying and mitigating security and business process risks.

Requirements

• 2+ years of customer support experience focused on accounting, financial, or banking applications.
• 1+ year of experience as an SAP end user, preferably with AA, AP, AR, or GL.
• Knowledge of standard financial transactions and SAP posting transactions.
• Ability to analyze problems, direct appropriate action, and provide patient, service-oriented customer support.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Ability to work from the Mexico City area and attend the office at least 3 days per week when within reasonable commuting distance.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of web-based applications experience and related technical knowledge.
• Experience with SQL queries or scripting, MS Office, ticket management systems, and browser issue resolution.
