TL;DR
MES Champion / Modeler (MES/Manufacturing): Implementing and modelling Manufacturing Execution Systems for factory operations with an accent on requirements analysis, MES configuration, and Agile project coordination. Focus on translating factory needs into standardized solutions, coordinating development and deployment, and resolving complex production-control issues.
Location: Hybrid role in Juarez, Nuevo León, Mexico

What you will do
- Act as the local technical and functional reference for MES and interface with the Global MES organization.
- Organize local MES development activities using Agile methodologies, including sprint backlog management, prioritization, planning, and follow-up.
- Collect factory requirements and translate them into MES solutions, models, and configurations based on global standards and Golden Examples.
- Lead local MES projects from requirements definition through implementation and deployment.
- Coordinate the local MES team and technical contributors across development, testing, deployment, and issue resolution.
- Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and resource availability while promoting reuse, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Systems, Business Engineering, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing or a computer science-related role.
- Knowledge of MES and ERP systems, materials management, and production control.
- Experience with discrete manufacturing and MES/ECS production-control systems.
- Strong backend programming capabilities and a proven record of backend development for medium-sized projects.
- Fluent English and availability to travel, including possible international travel.
Nice to have
- Experience with Critical Manufacturing MES and SAP.
