Head of Advanced Threat Management (AI)

Location: Washington, D.C.; fully in-person up to five days a week

Base salary: $205,920–$397,440 annually

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end cyber and physical threat defense operations in the secure environment.
• Set monitoring, detection, and response strategy for consumer-facing internet products at application scale.
• Design and deploy autonomous AI agents for detection engineering, telemetry enrichment, and incident response playbooks.
• Define high-volume data ingestion and edge-processing strategies without relying on centralized SIEM bottlenecks.
• Command major security incidents across engineering, security, legal, HR, IT, and business teams.
• Modernize physical security monitoring through computer vision and AI-based anomaly detection.

Requirements

• 10+ years of dedicated cybersecurity experience in the technology industry or high-scale internet product environments.
• Rigorous engineering or highly technical cybersecurity background with depth in application code, distributed systems, and modern cloud architecture.
• Demonstrated experience commanding high-stakes security incidents with minimal disruption to global product availability.
• Strong focus on autonomous systems, machine learning, and agentic security workflows.
• Ability to work on-site in Washington, D.C., up to five days per week.
