What you will do

• Deliver propagation activities supporting the long-term resilience and development of Westonbirt's living collection.
• Propagate and cultivate tree species for collection development, conservation programmes, and future planting requirements.
• Work with nursery staff and report to the Curator as part of the Westonbirt Tree Team.
• Support volunteer engagement, knowledge sharing, and public understanding of tree conservation.
• Maintain high standards of nursery hygiene, plant health, and biosecurity.
• Ensure plant material entering and leaving the nursery is healthy and free from pests and pathogens.

Requirements

• Relevant experience and career history in propagation, cultivation, nursery work, or tree conservation.
• Ability to work onsite at Westonbirt, The National Arboretum.
• Accurate spoken English is required.
• Ability to prepare a 200-word statement on relevant experience and a personal statement of no more than 500 words.
• Successful candidates must complete a criminal record check and baseline personnel security standard check.
