Live Ops Manager (Mobile Games)

Location: Remote in Canada or hybrid in Mexico City

British Columbia annual salary range: $75,000–$109,800 CAD

What you will do

• Translate Live Ops strategy for offers, events, milestones, rewards, and other components into Jira tickets, configuration specifications, acceptance criteria, and implementation plans.
• Prioritize, delegate, and track work across an external Live Ops implementation partner.
• Maintain launch readiness, confirm requirements and assets are complete, and resolve risks before they affect players or the business.
• Review configured content for technical accuracy, player value, consistency, and alignment with engagement and monetization strategies.
• Coordinate events and monetization workstreams, resolve conflicts, and ensure components support the monthly plan.
• Improve templates, documentation, workflows, and data-informed delivery using player segmentation, performance data, Codex, and ChatGPT.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Live Ops, product operations, production, product management, or a comparable execution-focused role in mobile or free-to-play games.
• Strong organization, ownership, follow-through, attention to detail, and communication skills.
• Experience turning ambiguous direction into precise tickets, requirements, and acceptance criteria; familiarity with Jira is strongly preferred.
• Experience evaluating configuration accuracy and whether implementation supports player and business outcomes.
• Ability to manage external partners or distributed implementation teams through delegation, prioritization, feedback, and escalation.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort using data for events and monetization requirements; SQL proficiency is preferred.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with SQL, BigQuery, Looker, or comparable analytics tools.
• Experience designing milestone systems, event rewards, or progression-based monetization in a role-playing game or Hero Collector.
• Deep understanding of Marvel intellectual property and its player community.
