Location: Austin, Texas; must reside in or be willing to relocate to Texas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma, preferably Texas. Requires at least 20% travel within the region.
Salary: $223,700–$307,800 per year, plus eligibility for a bonus incentive plan.

What you will do
- Lead the South Central regional market strategy and oversee the regional P&L, margin targets, and administrative budget.
- Direct the regional Finance team and provide financial and operational leadership across a team of 9, including 4 direct reports.
- Lead the annual Medicare Advantage and CMS bid process in collaboration with product, finance, and growth teams.
- Oversee annual budgeting, financial planning, projections, risk management, operational metrics, and reporting.
- Partner with provider network, health services, network performance, physician, and hospital leaders on product, network, quality, and operational strategy.
- Design compliant policies, performance controls, cost-containment initiatives, and process improvements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Part D coverage, CMS bid mechanics, and bid tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 8+ years of finance experience in the health solutions industry, preferably including 3+ years as a CFO or finance-focused COO.
- Demonstrated management, leadership, team-building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate across organizational levels and travel at least 20% within the region.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Texas, Arkansas, or Oklahoma, preferably Texas.
Nice to have
- Certified Public Accountant certification.
- Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Knowledge of South Central market dynamics, Value-Based Care, provider contracting, Medicare Risk Adjustment, and Stars/Quality functions.
