Data Engineer II (Python, SQL, Databricks, AWS)

Annual base salary: $126,500–$208,700

What you will do

• Build, design, deploy, and operationalize complex data solutions and pipelines.
• Capture, transform, analyze, and validate data for artificial intelligence, machine learning, and business intelligence.
• Apply data cleansing, governance, security, and quality practices.
• Analyze complex data sources and recommend data for analytical processes.
• Test data movement, transformation code, and data components.
• Resolve complex data and system defects and incidents while collaborating with technical teams and business partners.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related STEM field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 4 additional years of data engineering experience; the ideal candidate profile specifies 8 years of related experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, and Databricks.
• Experience with cloud platforms, modern software engineering practices, and AWS is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Informatica, or comparable technologies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and technical leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leading a technical team or serving as a team lead.
