Analyst, Accounts Payable

What you will do

• Review and post vendor invoices accurately and on time in accounting systems.
• Validate invoice charges against purchase orders, goods and service receipts, and authorized approvals.
• Identify and resolve invoicing discrepancies with vendors and internal departments.
• Follow up on pending transactions and reconcile vendor statements with the company subledger.
• Monitor vendor payment schedules and provide quality service to internal and external clients.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in a similar accounts payable function.
• Post-secondary education in accounting, business, or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and accounting software.
• Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to manage a large volume of transactions.
• Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with rigor, autonomy, adaptability, and a proactive approach.
• Bilingual French and English communication skills.
