DBA Oracle (Operations)

Location: Hybrid in Porto, Portugal

What you will do

• Support Oracle database operations for banking and financial-services solutions.
• Manage Oracle RAC and Single Instance environments.
• Debug and troubleshoot database incidents and operational issues.
• Use Oracle Recovery Manager (RMAN) and Oracle Data Guard for backup, recovery, and database protection.
• Work with related technologies including MS-SQL, MySQL, Sybase, and Hadoop.
• Handle operational requests through a ticketing system.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience in a similar DBA role.
• Experience with Oracle 11g, Oracle 12c, and/or Oracle 19c.
• Experience with Oracle RAC, Single Instance, RMAN, and Oracle Data Guard.
• Experience with debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience with MS-SQL, MySQL, Sybase, and/or Hadoop, plus ticketing systems.
• Fluent Portuguese and English required.
