TL;DR
Intercompany & Financial Specialist (Transfer Pricing/Financial Reporting): Managing intercompany recharges, invoicing, reconciliations, transfer pricing documentation, and financial reporting for hosted roles in the Romanian entity with an accent on tax compliance, cost-plus calculations, and multinational accounting controls. Focus on resolving intercompany discrepancies, managing permanent establishment, withholding tax, and foreign exchange risks, and optimizing financial processes.

What you will do

  • Manage monthly cost-transfer transactions and service recharges for personnel and services hosted in Romania.
  • Calculate and issue intercompany invoices using cost-plus, time-tracking, and direct-allocation mechanisms.
  • Reconcile intercompany balances with Group entities and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with service-level agreements, intercompany agreements, transfer pricing policy, and Romanian tax legislation.
  • Prepare transfer pricing data and recharge matrix documentation and support audits and inspections.
  • Manage permanent establishment, withholding tax, foreign exchange, and intellectual property risks related to intercompany services.

Requirements

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Cybernetics.
  • 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or intercompany accounting, preferably in a multinational company or shared services environment.
  • Practical knowledge of transfer pricing, intercompany recharging, and IFRS concepts.
  • English proficiency at minimum B2 level, including written, reading, and spoken communication.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas, and data analysis.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Wizrom; knowledge of SAP FI/CO is an advantage.

Nice to have

  • ACCA or CECCAR professional qualification.
  • Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of tax, labor, GDPR, US GAAP, and IFRS legislation.
