Senior Clinical Research Associate (IVD/Oncology)

Location: Fully remote and home-based within Spain; domestic travel with overnight stays may account for approximately 50–60% of the role, and international travel may be required.

What you will do

• Monitor and own the progress of clinical studies at investigative sites.
• Ensure studies are conducted, recorded, and reported according to protocols, SOPs, ICH-GCP, regulations, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate study start-up and monitoring activities, including investigator identification, regulatory submissions, pre-study visits, and initiation visits.
• Support clinical study teams on appropriately sized and larger-scope trials.
• Interact with clients, initiate payments, and contribute to proposals and client presentations.
• Train and mentor junior staff members.

Requirements

• Four-year college degree or equivalent experience.
• CRA certificate.
• At least five years of CRA/SCRA experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device environment.
• Extensive experience with IVD, oncology, infectious diseases, and gastrointestinal studies.
• Experience monitoring studies across multiple European countries, ideally including Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Denmark.
• Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

• Graduate or postgraduate degree in a scientific or healthcare discipline.

• Understanding of financial management for senior CRA responsibilities.
