Process and 3D Integration Modeling Researcher (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Analyze data from customer and research fabs to identify hidden patterns and underlying physical implications.
• Develop computational models for bonding, coating, polishing, plasma etching, and other processing steps.
• Design wafer-processing experiments and organize model validation and calibration.
• Collaborate with domain experts, application experts, process integration engineers, research institutes, and universities.
• Generate concepts and solutions for current and future metrology, patterning, and 3D integration products.

Requirements

• PhD in physics, chemistry, materials science, applied mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with computational model development, numerical simulations, and calibration.
• Background in creating simplified but accurate representations of complex physical or chemical processes.
• Analytical mindset, curiosity, independence, teamwork, and effective communication across disciplines.
• English communication skills are required.
• Legal authorization to access technology controlled under United States Export Administration Regulations is required before starting work.

Nice to have

• Experience with cleanroom fabrication techniques or semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Experience with hirify.global Overlay or Alignment analysis.
