IT Business Analyst (Core Banking)

What you will do

• Interpret, clarify, and refine business requirements and the product backlog.
• Design technical solution options with architects and validate the preferred approach.
• Write technical specifications and user stories, estimate complexity, and translate business needs into functional specifications.
• Lead requirements, process-definition, and design workshops with product owners, system owners, decision-makers, and end users.
• Ensure product quality, security, performance, availability, and scalability while managing quality assurance processes.
• Create, execute, and optimize automated functional, integration, user acceptance, and production tests; provide documentation, training, and technical support.

Requirements

• Approximately 5 years of experience in the banking industry.
• Strong knowledge of banking business processes and products.
• Deep understanding of SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual-thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing global products with multiple clients and stakeholder requirements.
• Fluent English is required. Knowledge of security, audit, and IT architecture is expected.

Nice to have

• Experience with core banking technologies.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitLab.
• Knowledge of IT landscapes, software development lifecycles, and agile methodology.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in an IT-related field.
