Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer (GitHub)

What you will do

• Contribute to an enterprise-scale GitHub transformation covering more than 2,000 repositories and CI/CD ecosystems.
• Plan and execute GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Organization migrations, including discovery, design, pilots, migration waves, cutover, validation, rollback, and stabilization.
• Migrate repositories, workflows, runners, permissions, environments, variables, secrets, GitHub Apps, webhooks, OAuth integrations, and OIDC configurations.
• Build migration automation using scripting and Infrastructure as Code.
• Support AWS infrastructure, Kubernetes/EKS, Jenkins, and related platform integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot migration issues and ensure platform stability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering with recent experience in GitHub and CI/CD.
• Hands-on administration of GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Organizations at enterprise scale.
• Experience with enterprise GitHub repository and workflow migrations, GitHub Actions, runners, OIDC, GitHub Apps, webhooks, and OAuth.
• Strong experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with Jenkins, Kubernetes, AWS EKS, and AWS infrastructure.
• Programming and automation skills using Python, Bash, or equivalent technologies.

Nice to have

• Migration projects involving hundreds or thousands of repositories.
• GitOps and FluxCD experience.
• AWS CodeBuild experience.
• Git submodules, complex repository dependencies, SSO or identity migration, and migration tooling experience.
