Location: Hybrid positions in Augsburg, Germany, and Budapest, Hungary, with rotations across Germany, Hungary, and China

What you will do

• Rotate across one or more AI and robotics domains in Germany, Hungary, and China.
• Develop embodied AI and robot learning solutions using reinforcement learning, imitation learning, manipulation policies, and sim-to-real transfer.
• Build and adapt foundation models, including vision-language-action models, large language models, and multimodal reasoning systems.
• Develop robot perception capabilities such as computer vision, object detection and segmentation, 6D pose estimation, and sensor fusion.
• Build AI infrastructure including robot data pipelines, data engines, experiment tracking, deployment, and monitoring.
• Deploy AI technologies on physical robotic systems used in industrial automation, factories, warehouses, and customer environments.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, AI, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills and an understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
• Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, reinforcement learning, computer vision, robotics, ROS or ROS2, and foundation models or generative AI.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, curiosity, and passion for intelligent systems.
• Research projects or publications and open-source contributions.
• Availability for a hybrid role in Augsburg or Budapest and rotations across Germany, Hungary, and China.
