This is a hands-on HR transformation opportunity with the chance to build, professionalise and significantly enhance the HR function.
Key responsibilities:
• Assessing and developing the current HR function, workforce structure, policies, processes and controls.
• Establishing a clear and reliable manpower, payroll and employee data baseline.
• Strengthening payroll, attendance, overtime compensation and HR controls.
• Developing practical approaches to grading, compensation, performance management and increments.
• Working closely with senior leadership and department heads to drive accountability and reshape the culture and way of working.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7+ years of relevant HR experience, with meaningful HR leadership responsibility.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a relevant field.
• Experience building, restructuring or materially improving an HR function.
• Recent UAE experience is essential, with a strong practical understanding of UAE labour laws, payroll, employee relations and multicultural workforce management.
• Experience in retail, FMCG, wholesale, distribution, food trading, logistics or similar environment
