Senior Backend Engineer - Golang (SDE 3) (Fintech)

hirify.global is a fintech company developing instant e-commerce financing and unsecured lending products across Southeast Asia.

What you will do

• Design and implement backend services for lending platforms such as hirify.global.
• Build scalable microservices and tools using open-source frameworks and cloud infrastructure.
• Integrate machine learning models for real-time credit scoring and fraud detection.
• Collaborate with Product, Business, and Sales teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Benchmark, load-test, diagnose, and improve backend systems in an agile environment.
• Participate in design discussions and code reviews while researching modern backend technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent field.
• At least 3 years of software development experience.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Professional experience with Golang, Python, or C++.
• Understanding of microservices architecture, event-driven programming, HTTP, web services, OAuth, and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with Linux and strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud-based systems and infrastructure services such as AWS or GCP.
