Building Surveyor (Code and Building Compliance)

What you will do

• Assess building designs against the National Construction Code and Building Code of Australia across multiple building classifications.
• Liaise with clients and prepare National Construction Code and Building Code of Australia compliance reports.
• Collaborate with clients on upgrading fire safety measures.
• Visit project sites to review construction progress and completion.
• Prepare Performance Solution design reports for non-fire performance solutions.
• Lead a team and support the development of junior building surveyors.

Requirements

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
• Postgraduate qualification in Building Surveying or a similar discipline with relevant industry experience.
• Current registration as a Level 1 or Level 2 building surveyor.
• Knowledge of the performance requirements of the Building Code of Australia.
• Familiarity with workplace Work Health and Safety requirements.
• Strong collaboration, autonomy, time management, organization, integrity, and accountability.
