Software Engineering Specialist (Security)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; office-based five days per week. Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Applicants must have lived in the UK for at least 10 years and be eligible to ohirify.globalain DV Security Clearance before starting.

Salary: Competitive DV market-aligned salary. A DV allowance of up to £5,000 per annum may be payable monthly while holding the required clearance.

What you will do

• Deliver high-quality, well-tested software solutions in line with the engineering strategy.
• Develop and maintain bespoke, highly complex specialist capabilities for key customer services.
• Work closely with customers and partners to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
• Establish technical objectives, define roadmaps, and delegate responsibilities across a significant area of work.
• Influence technical direction, delivery-team resourcing, customers, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.

Requirements

• Eligibility to ohirify.globalain DV-level Developed Vetting Security Clearance is required.
• Applicants must have lived in the UK for 10+ years.
• Experience with agile development, programming, software testing, application development, and the software development lifecycle.
• Experience delivering high-quality software and handling complex technical responsibilities.
• Strong object-oriented programming experience; relevant technologies may include C#, Python, C++, Objective-C, Elastic, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Git, and the MEAN stack.
