Full-Stack Engineer (AI)

Location: Leuven, Belgium; work from the Leuven office at least 3 days per week

Relu is an AI-native medtech company transforming dental care through digital tools for dental professionals and laboratories.

What you will do

• Build and scale the web platform used by thousands of dental professionals and support growing user and order volumes.
• Develop workflow automation agents for scan intake, order entry, customer communications, and 3D print queues.
• Design and implement user interfaces and features for the 3D mesh viewer, including editing tools, visualization controls, and model handling.
• Build integrations with scanners, printers, CAD/CAM partners, ERPs, and related APIs.
• Improve platform reliability, debugging, monitoring, and observability.

Requirements

• MSc in Computer Science or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with frontend and/or backend development through an internship, personal projects, or applied work.
• Working knowledge of frontend and backend codebases, including TypeScript/Vue.js and Python/FastAPI.
• Understanding of databases, APIs, transactions, race conditions, authentication, and rate limits.
• Ability to debug using logs, metrics, and error-tracking tools, with strong attention to code quality and user experience.
• Fluent English and valid work authorization in Belgium are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3D graphics on the web, Three.js, WebGL, meshes, or medical and scientific visualization.
• Familiarity with AWS, CloudFront, Terraform, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and observability tools.
• Exposure to dental, medtech, or CAD/CAM domains.
• Experience building with AI or LLM tooling.
