Industrial Fire Expert (Construction Systems)

What you will do

• Conduct fire engineering assessments and provide technical guidance on building systems, façades, and product applications.
• Review designs, specifications, and construction details for compliance with fire safety regulations and industry standards.
• Prepare technical reports, fire engineering assessments, certification applications, and compliance documentation.
• Advise on passive fire protection, compartmentation, structural fire resistance, and façade fire performance.
• Manage fire safety certification processes, maintain certification records, and carry out site and façade inspections.
• Identify risks and non-conformities, recommend corrective actions, support clients and contractors, and contribute to sustainable construction solutions.

Requirements

• Membership of the Institution of Fire Engineers or an equivalent professional body.
• Experience in offsite construction, modern methods of construction, modular construction, or light gauge steel framing systems.
• Knowledge of façades, external wall systems, and cladding technologies.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, manage certification activities, and address fire safety compliance challenges.
